The earliest arrival time is 12pm, latest arrival is 6pm unless otherwise arranged via email. All pitches must be vacated by 11am on day of departure with no exceptions.

We have 12 spacious fully serviced hard standing pitches and a further 8 electric only hard standing pitches. A further 20 pitches are for mixed use including tents.

Our pitch sizes range from:

  • tent pitch/motorhome pitch - approximately 8M X 7M

  • campervan pitch 6.5m x 6M

Our nearest beach is Seascale which is only 10 minutes away. Seascale is a popular seaside village in Cumbria. Miles of sandy beach with views across the sea to the Isle of Man and the Galloway mountains of Scotland.

Dogs are allowed on the beach all year.

At the campsite, many campers still like to stay connected during their stay and for your convenience, we have free WiFi available throughout our campsite. At busy times especially during school holidays this can become slower than normal so we ask that the wifi is not used for streaming.

Yes, we are a dog-friendly site but kindly ask that dogs are kept on leads whilst around the site.

Yes, we provide freezers for this purpose which is free of charge.

We do not have a shop onsite, the nearest being Gosforth (3 miles) or the Spar in Holmrook (3 miles). There are no public transport links from site but there are local taxi firms.

The Bridge Inn, just a stroll from the site, is home to the annual ‘Biggest Liar’ competition - we kid you not, it’s a real thing!

The Bridge Inn has an excellent reputation for good food from our hearty Lakeland breakfast to their home cooked meals which are served either in the Dalesman Bar or the Eskdale Room. Both serve set menu as well as ever changing specials on their blackboards.

Portions are large and all made from fresh produce on the premises.

The Dalesman bar has a warm and welcoming atmosphere in which to relax and enjoy a drink or something to eat. The bar has a fine selection of Jenning's real ales and during the cooler days of the year a cosy log fire crackles and dances in the grate. Also dogs are welcome in the bar.

The latest arrival time is 6PM.
